First Aid 2 hero left2 Hundreds of downloads, 26 countries, one weekIn our first week since the release of First Aid (Hospitals), it has been downloaded hundreds of times, and in 26 countries even though the database only currently lists U.S hospitals. This is better than I had anticipated, especially for our first application offering. You can see screenshots on the FirstAid page.

The feedback I’ve gotten has also been invaluable. It has brought to light that there are at least two inaccuracies in the database that will be addressed soon. But more importantly it has prompted a feature enhancement for the next release. User’s will have the ability to submit edits to hospital information. Once the edits have been verified it will be added to the production database and available to everyone. It is absolutely vital that the accuracy of the information in the database be as accurate as possible.

It has also become evident that the need for international support is something that we shouldn’t have overlooked. So also with the next release the database will begin international support.

Other enhancements will be;

 • Support for iPod Touch (with iPad support coming soon)
 • The ability to provide feedback from within the application
 • The ability to rate each of the medical facilities

So please keep the feedback coming.., I look forward to any feedback and features requests that you may have to make this application better.

alex hogan http:hogana.com <![CDATA[What’s Coming?]]> http:/?p=1 2010-03-09T03:42:21Z 2010-03-08T16:14:47Z We’ve released our first application, First Aid (Hospitals), for the iPhone. Versions for iPad and Android are in the works and will be coming shortly. First Aid (Hospitals) is available in the App Store.

But what do we have currently in development?

 • iVatar – tired of having to log into every one of the social sites that you are registered on just to change your photo? iVatar allows you to change your photo on Facebook, LinkedIn, MySpace, Skype, Google, Garatars, StumbleUpon, Digg, and even your personal blog, in one easy step. (Release date 04.01.2010)
 • First Aid (Unlimited) – an updated version of the original application that contains additional information like the location of Minor Emergency Clinics, an indicator showing after hours clinics and medical services, Emergency Dental Clinics, and additional support information about each listing in the database. (Release date 04.15.2010)

There are more on the drawing board but this is all we can mention right now.
